Dr. Donald A. Fanelli has been a dedicated dental professional in the Rutherford area for nearly 44 years. An accomplished athlete, he earned All-State honors in basketball and football at St. Joseph’s of West New York High School and was inducted into the Hudson County Athletic Hall of Fame for both sports. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in History at Cornell University, where he was co-captain of the Big Red varsity football team. Dr. Fanelli graduated first in his class from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1979, now known as the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Fanelli offers a wide range of services, including child dental care, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, minor oral surgery, and implant-based restorative dentistry. His compassionate, patient-first approach has earned him a strong reputation in the Rutherford healthcare community, where he treats multiple generations of families. Fluent in Italian and Spanish, Dr. Fanelli is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and has achieved the advanced level of Fellow. He is also involved with the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Bergen County affiliate. Dr. Fanelli is part of the Fanelli and Row Dental Group, alongside Dr. Sungmin E. Row, and is an active participant in the Straumann International Group’s implant restoration focus. He resides in Bergen County with his two children and four grandchildren.
